Ross Mitchell,

CFA, President

In his role as President of Dunbar, Ross has overall responsibility for the firm’s investment and management activities. Through the course of his career, Ross has successfully executed in excess of one billion dollars of core through value added real estate investments. Ross also has extensive property and asset management experience having been responsible for over 100 properties with an approximate value of nearly $500 million.

Prior to founding Dunbar, Ross was the Vice President of Investments at Cohen Asset Management, Inc. where he helped acquire almost four million square feet of industrial and office property throughout California, Arizona, Texas, and the Midwest.

Ross earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Real Estate from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada and a Master of Real Estate Development degree from the University of Southern California. Ross also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.

Ross has been a speaker at the University of Southern California (USC) Lusk School for Real Estate, is actively involved with USC as a mentor for graduate real estate students and has served as a board member of the USC School of Policy, Planning and Development’s alumni board. He resides in Manhattan Beach, California with his wife, Stephanie, and their five children.

Rick Knight,

Vice President

As Vice President of Dunbar Real Estate Investment Management, Rick Knight is actively involved in the acquisition, management, and disposition of the firm’s assets. Rick has built a track record of success as an investor, broker, consultant, and commercial real estate manager. Rick has experience with a broad range of asset types including, medical, industrial, office, retail, multifamily and government facilities.

Through the course of his career, Rick has successfully executed in excess of $400 million of value added real estate investments. Rick also has an extensive background in real estate management, having overseen the property and asset management of over 150 properties with an approximate market value of $400 million.

Rick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and entrepreneurship from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA. Rick also has a Master of Real Estate Development degree from the University of Southern California.

His professional affiliations include Urban Land Institute, NAIOP, and the University of Southern California Lusk Center of Real Estate. Mr. Knight has also been a guest speaker at the University of Southern California.

Zack Burns,

Vice President

Zack is responsible for all aspects of the real estate investment lifecycle including acquisition, asset management, and disposition of assets. Zack has experience with a broad range of real estate asset classes including office, industrial, multifamily, and hospitality properties.

Prior to Joining Dunbar, Zack was an Associate at JMA Ventures where he was responsible for due diligence and underwriting of new investments as well as asset management of investments held in JMA’s portfolio. Through the course of his career, Zack has successfully acquired real estate valued in excess of $275 million.

Prior to joining JMA, Zack worked for NERA Economic Consulting on the antitrust M&A advisory and antitrust and intellectual property litigation teams conducting analyses for corporate clients.

Zack graduated magna cum laude from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and earned a Master of Real Estate Development degree from the University of Southern California. He is a passionate surfer and golfer.

Stacey Priest,

Asset Manager

Stacey is responsible for the asset management of Dunbar’s Southern California projects as well as several assets in Arizona.

She joined the Dunbar team in June 2018 with over 25 years of property management experience, managing over 30 million square feet in several product types including, office, industrial, retail, and both residential and commercial associations.  Her background covers all aspects of property management including, acquisition and distribution, budgeting, cash management, lease negotiations, financial reporting, capital improvement management, construction management, tenant retention, and vendor and investor relations. 

Prior to joining Dunbar, Stacey worked as a property manager for Bentall Property Management - Orange County, Turner Development Corporation in Newport Beach, CORE Property Management in Long Beach, and Strategic Realty Group in San Diego. Most recently she managed the personal assets for a private investor in Orange County.

Suzanne Hamilton,


Asset Manager

Suzanne’s role as an asset manager focuses on making important investment decisions to help maximize each property’s value for Dunbar’s investors.  Suzanne has been in the commercial real estate industry for almost 15 years. Prior to joining Dunbar, she was a Senior Property Manager at Victoria Properties Management where she gained experience in day to day operations, cash flow management, and the physical attributes of office and industrial properties.  As an Asset Manager, Suzanne works closely with the property managers and leasing agents, overseeing lease negotiations, capital and tenant improvements, budgets, and cash flows. She also assists in conducting due diligence for potential acquisitions. Suzanne currently oversees one million square feet of Dunbar’s Phoenix Metropolitan portfolio.

Suzanne holds a Broker License in the state of Arizona and will obtain a certificate for Real Estate Investment from Harvard University Extension School in late 2020.

Wai Joe,

Controller

As Dunbar’s controller, Wai handles all the accounting operations for the company. His responsibilities include cash management, production of financial reports, and oversight of payments and cash receipts for all of Dunbar’s investments. Wai also works with asset managers and third-party managers to prepare monthly and quarterly reports for investors and lenders.

Weston White,

Acquisitions Associate

Weston is responsible for the acquisition and disposition of assets, as well as underwriting, market analytics, and various asset and property management functions throughout Southern California and Phoenix. Weston specializes in the acquisition of properties in the Inland Empire submarket of Southern California. Prior to Dunbar, Weston worked as a property manager at Davis Partners and as a sales associate at Marcus & Millichap. In these positions, Weston gained experience in a variety of real estate facets ranging from property management to investment sales of office, industrial, and multifamily assets. Through the course of his career, he has been responsible for the management of over seven million square feet of real estate for owners ranging from individuals to large institutional investors.

Weston received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from California State University, Fullerton and holds a California Real Estate license.

Jane Thomas,

Property Manager

Jane is the Property Manager for the multi-tenant industrial/office property located in Fountain Valley.  She is a Licensed Real Estate Agent with extensive experience and knowledge in the management of commercial properties including office, industrial, and shopping centers.  Jane also has experience with residential properties, having grown up managing family owned residential investments. Her current role involves the day to day operations of the Fountain Valley property including management of tenant relations, lease compliance, 3rd party vendor oversight, new and renewing lease negotiations, tenant and capital improvements, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, upkeep of accurate tenant/property records, expense monitoring and common area maintenance oversight.

Prior to Dunbar, Jane worked as a Property Manager for Younan Properties, Inc. where she was responsible for the oversight of five Class A office buildings located in Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties. Before Younan Properties, Jane worked for Robertson Properties Group managing shopping centers throughout California.
